This weeks challenge for http://thethreemuseschallenge.blogspot.com/ is "Circles." I have used strawberries and orchids to create my circle mandalas. I credit Ray Rasmussen for his tutorial on his web: http://raysweb.net/making_mandalas/01.html for teaching me how to make these beautiful and fun designs.

ReplyDeleteWhat a feast of color! Thanks for the tip on the website too. Making mandalas is almost addictive, as I recall. They are certainly beautiful to see!
ReplyDeleteFabulous mandalas, Jean, the strawberry one is especially scrumptious definately good enough to eat - with cream of course!
ReplyDeleteYes, the strawberry mandala has me yearning for a juicy strawberry or two. As it is wintertime in Australia, the strawberries are not at their best. They are big and red but as sour as all get-out.
ReplyDeleteJean, both mandalas are superb. What a great inspiration for the "art in the round" challenge. Fantastic. Thanks for joining in this week.
