Jean, I am so pleased that you left a comment on my blog (and thankyou for that) because it has shown me the way to yours and everything I see is absolutely scrumptious. You may be new to digital (and it certainly isn't obvious to the viewer) but your work is fantastic. I love the way you frame your pictures. This one is inspired with the weathered door frame and the beautiful scenes inside. The owl and the rose are perfect added touches. Congratulations. Take a huge bow. Your artistry is beyond question.
Hey Jean. I have just read the comment that Stacey had give you on your privious post. Is it realy just a few weeks ago that you started with Elements ? Wow..the work that you already made, prommised al lot for the future ! My big aplaus for you ! You have framed the cowgirl so creative and using the other things like the background and owl ! In Holland we would say "Sjappooo" :D
Jean - The arch I used (the gold one by Irene Alexeeva) was a freebie when she was between websites and she kept her name out there by giving lovely little free kits to her fans. Because it is a freebie, I am sure it is OK for me to send it to you. If you like to email me moom@iinet.net.au with your address I will send it. I am not sure about Gothic Arches. I joined before they changed the rules and they did that because of hackers and unwanted advertisers who were misusing the site. However, I will check it out and let you know. Moi Freubel (see above) is a great digital artist and she usually explains how she creates her pictures step by step so a look at her blogpage is well worthwhile.
Me again! I checked Gothic Arches and it seems that any member can invite a friend to join so when I have your email address I will fill in the appropriate form and Gothic Arches will take it from there and let you know that you are a member.
Jean, this is absolutely excellent!!! You know I am not keen on the western style but I really love this! The texture of the background is wonderful. Can't believe you are already teaching me things but you are! I love the way you are using the filters and I have been emulating you in my last coule of pieces!
I am a retired graphic designer from the pre-digital era. I am just learning Photoshop Elements at the same time I am learning computer basics, so please bear with me!
