Jewels of the Seas
This is my first challenge for TGIF. I decided to turn my pin-up girl into a mermaid. I added some jewels and a genie bottle. All divas must have BLING!!!. Even mermaids who live beneath the sea. http://thankgoditsfriday.wordpress.com/2009/05/21/tgif-no-86-pin-up-girls/#comments

Marilyn in Pink
I have created 2 designs for http://sundaypostcardart.wordpress.com/ This weeks challenge is Postage People. My first design I made was cutting out just the head of Marilyn from an actual postage stamp of her. The second design was using the whole stamp of Marilyn but putting it behind her. Her dress is from a paper doll collection. The background is scrapbooking paper. These two elements were made physically together then scanned in . The lips and lace were digital. I had fun with both so I decided to enter them together.

Sunshine Girl
This is my version for http://artcreationsfriday.blogspot.com/ challenge 26. I love this background. Sunflowers are one of my favorites. The girl came from Kubivet's freebies. I used the brush tool in photoshop to highlight the sunflower and girl.
Alice in Wonderland
This is my version of http://sundaypostcardart.wordpress.com/ Alice in Wonderland . I used Itkupilli's digital college sheet for the arch. The remaining artwork was researched from the Internet.

Amelia Earhart
This is my entry for Gothic Arches, Vintage Woman....Amelia, a woman I admire, left a rich legacy which continued to be an inspiration not only to women, but to all who seek to explore and push their own limits and the world's boundaries. One of her famous quotes, "Never interrupt someone doing what you said couldn't be done."
